You will begin your journey at your location where our guide will be waiting for you at the appointed time to head our first site to explore, Faro. It is a historic and charming city, which has a lot to provide tourists. There is a delightful walled historical quarter (the Cidade Velha), extraordinary baroque structure and a first-class waterfront that overlooks the Parque Natural da Ria Formosa.
Our next stop is Olhão – a traditional fishing village, renowned for the cube-shaped white-washed houses, contrasting with the golden sands and the blue sky and sea. Here you have an opportunity to explore the famous market with its big selection of fish.
After lunch in Tavira, you will climb to the castle walls, the best viewpoint in the area, cross the pedestrian Roman Bridge originating in the 3rd century and visit at least one of the town’s 22 churches.
We will end our tour at Cacela Velha where you will enjoy its magnificent vantage point out over the sea and the extensive sandy banks of the famous Ria Formosa.
